Another alphabet.

Here's a page from another alphabet I'm working on- one with a theme of medieval art. I was thrilled when I found images of play in illuminated manuscripts. Apparently medieval life wasn't all prayer and suffering. I also found ice-skaters in another manuscript, one made in Bruges, where the inhabitants skated every winter on the frozen canals.Seeing these images of play remind me that real human beings lived in the middle ages, not the ciphers of the duller versions of history.
