I've been reading fairy tales, and I came across an astounding one I don't remember seeing before. It's called Godfather Death, and it's about a poor peasant who has 12 children. When the thirteenth is born, he goes looking for a godfather for him, and he encounters God and the Devil, both of whom offer to stand godfather to the boy. But he keeps on looking until he encounters Death, and choses him because Death is always fair- Death takes everyone, sooner or later. This is a print I am working on about this story.
